A New Hope

Ok ... This post had to go out two months ago...Let's avoid bothering with it and go on!
Chinese experience finished....and if I can, I’ll go back there!
It was trying and sometimes difficult, but it really has given me so much and I hope to be back soon. Even only for a month, perhaps not alone this time. We'll see.

However, when I say that it gave me so much I’m literal. In fact, the last few days it turned out that they could organize an exam just for me...20-minute examination, approximately, to assess my skills with bare hands and with weapons in order to get a certificate to show off to the world. And so it was. I got my certificate in a garish red booklet (Mao model) which I promptly cited in the new project that I've written to get funded from the European community: Tai Chi as rehabilitation for osteoarthritis!

Project submitted on August 14. Now we are waiting for the results. Let's hope.

Then it gave me more ... Like, 3 pairs of shoes with holes in them! Note that I've always drilled the left shoe (the techniques involve more slipping on the left foot), however, the hole has moved. The first month was inside, then moved outside ... An example of medium / long term study :-)

It has also given me the knowledge that the Jedi exist ... As recited by the "pray" we recited every Saturday during the hour of Buddhism!

And it has also given me the company of some Chinese children with whom I trained. Some of them were damn hard to throw down!

This experience has also taken something ... It has taken away 10 kg!

When I arrived I looked like kung fu Panda. When I left I looked like a martial artist like the others! Now I've taken a few kilos back, but let's not quibble!

For now I have nothing to add. But I hope that this Tai Chi experience does not end here, and so I hope I will still have something to write about in this blog.

Kisses and hugs from China, and may the force be with us!
